CLEC DSL When ordering Resale DSL, the CLEC must also service the wireline on which the Servi DSL will be working. The CLEC may request the DSL service on an existing access ce line belonging to them or by requesting a new access line with new DSL service. Orde When DSL is involved, the PON number must begin with “DSL”. ring o A DSL project ID is also required on the LSR form. . The project ID is provided to the CLEC by CenturyLink and always begins with CWS. The project ID must be included on all: new DSL, changes to DSL, converts adding DSL, T- moves keeping or adding DSL, and disconnects involving DSL. o The PROJINDR field is populated with a B. Pertinent DSL information is entered into the Remarks section on the LSR form and DSL feature codes are added to the RS section of the PON. DSL feature codes can be found on the spreadsheet sent by CenturyLink.
DSL with New When ordering DSL along with a new wireline service the request type is EB with Servi ACT of N. The PON is filled in as a normal new install with the following ce exceptions: PON number must begin with DSL Project code for DSL beginning with CWS must be populated in the Project field The PROJINDR field is populated with a B. Pertinent DSL information is entered into the Remarks section. The RS form must have LNA=N, and the wireline feature codes as well as the DSL feature codes as indicated on the spreadsheet (based on desired package). See page 4 for an example of a request of New Service with DSL.
Disconnecting When disconnecting DSL service but leaving the wireline service, the VFO request DSL type is EB with ACT of C. Removing DSL service is similar to removing existing Servi features. It is necessary to view the Existing Service records in VFO to determine ce the Centurylink DSL feature codes that were used in provisioning the DSL as they may be different than the feature codes used on the DSL install request. It is important that all feature codes associated to the DSL be removed such as static IP codes etc. PON number must begin with DSL Project code for DSL beginning with CWS must be populated in the Project field. The PROJINDR field is populated with a B. Pertinent DSL information is entered into the Remarks section The RS form must have LNA=C the DSL feature codes are added to the RS section of the PON with an FA of D. Converting DSL service does not convert from the old carrier to a new carrier. The DSL with the Wire old service provider will disconnect when the convert orders are completed.
