Reforms and Automation (Customs)

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN Directorate General of REFORMS AND AUTOMATION (CUSTOMS) ISLAMABAD **** C.No.1(1)DG(R&A)/FBR/2017 Islamabad, the 7th June, 2017

SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT IN WeBOC SYSTEM

Directorate General of Customs Reforms & Automation is making all possible efforts for end to end automation. By now, 42 modules have already been developed, deployed and operative. Few more are in the making. At the moment, 90% of GDs are filed and processed under WeBOC. 100% is the target.

2. Users feedback and inputs are highly important for ensuring improvements, efficiency and effectiveness of the automated system. It is therefore, suggested that precise feedback may be sent at the given email address on the following format:

Sr.No. Name of the Module Problem/difficulty faced Suggested solution 1 User ID 2 IGM 3 GD Filing 4 Assessment 5 Security Management 6 Warehousing 7 Rebate / Duty Drawback 8 Electronic Import Form (EIF) 9 Electronic Form E (EFE) 10 Payment Management 11 Bonded Carriers 12 Any other module

3. Module-wise feedback will help to focus upon the problem. Above list is just an indicative one. Additional module(s) may be added where any difficulty is faced.

4. In case there is also some international best practice for improving any of WeBOC processes then that may also be shared. Sharing of relevant material or a web link etc. will also help for understanding the same. Customs Colleagues who have relevant international exposure can also make substantial contributions in this regard.

5. Looking forward for meaningful inputs. Response by 21st July, 2017 will be appreciated.
