Students are expected to be present and on time for all clinical assignments. Any absence from the clinical area will affect the student’s clinical education as well as affect the student’s work ethics and academic grade.

In the case of illness or other emergency, the student MUST personally notify a member of the Radiology PACS Specialist faculty and the clinical site prior to the scheduled clinical period. Failure to notify appropriate personnel will result in an unexcused absence. In addition, the student will have two percentage points deducted from their final grade if appropriate personnel are not notified prior to an absence or tardy.
