WORK EXPERIENCE

1990-2 British Institutes - Arona (NO) and Bologna, Italy Università degli Studi di Ferrara, Facoltà di Odontoiatria  EFL teacher, to both groups and individuals, from levels 0 to 5 (FCE). 1992-03 Oxford University Press Italia  Educational Consultant, Southern Italy. The post involved promoting the publisher through the writing and delivering of didactic seminars and presentations in English and Italian (40-50 p.a.) to Italian state school English language teachers (primary to university levels). Topics included ‘Didactic Continuity’, ‘Student Autonomy’, 'Multimedia in EFL’, 'Storytelling with Children’, and many more. Further responsibilities included briefing & updating sales representatives, offering sample lessons in state schools, carrying out product research, managing key accounts (PLSs) participating in trade fairs and conferences on a national and local level (TESOL, British Council etc), database management (in FoxPro and later in Windows), carrying out promotional campaigns and market analysis.
