The Visually Impaired Archery Tournament – Nantes Saint Herblain is open to all visually impaired archers who shoot with a tactile sight from all over the world. The recognized categories are those of the World Archery rules: VI1 and VI2-3.

The tournament is registered in the World Archery calendar. Then all participants have to have a license in a Federation who is a World Archery member association.

All participants need to have a valid classification status. For archers who don’t have an international classification, the session is organized the 27 February. In this case, the archer needs to obtain a World Archery Identification number. For that, he can go through the national World Archery member association and ask them to register in the wareos system : register.worldarchery.org.

If the result of the classification in "non-eligible”, the archer is allowed to shoot the qualification rounds but the scores will not be recognize, nor for the tournament, nor by World Archery (records, ranking).

Technical aspects of the event, as well as classifications are subject to the rules of World Archery. In particular please also note the special rules noted in chapter 21 of book 3. Tournament 30 meters : 21.12.6 et 21.12.8.3 Tournament 18 meters : 21.12.8.4 et 21.12.8.5

Classification

Classification will take place on Saturday 27 February 2016 at Clinique Jules Verne in Nantes. International Classifiers appointed by IBSA on behalf of World Archery will do it. World Archery will recognize the results as official and classified archers will be registered in the WA master list for the future WA tournaments.

Archers who need to be classified have to send medical intake form and information in English at latest 26 January 2016 to [email protected]

Venue Location

The tournament will take place in the Archery hall of the Club "Les archers de Saint-Herblain”: Parc des Sports du Vigneau - Boulevard Salvador ALLENDE - 44800 SAINT HERBLAIN

Transport

The organisation Committee arrange the local transport. Airport & railway station pick up is available from NANTES Airport or railway station.

The package includes accommodation in: Brit’Hotel le Kerann *** - 19, rue Bobby Sands - 44805 SAINT HERBLAIN Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel. Lunches will be served at the venue.

Classification will be a priority. We may change the provisional schedule to classify all registered archers before starting the tournament.

Registration fee includes: - sports fee for the tournament - accommodation for 1 person in twin room (nights of 26,27 & 28 February 2016) - local transport - meals from dinner of Friday 26 February 2016 to breakfast of Monday 29 February 2016

Athlete 280,00 € Assistant, Official 230,00 € Extra fee for single room 75,00 €

In case of cancelation, the Organization Committee will not reimburse the above amounts (by person): from 26/02/2016 to 17/02/2016 80,00 € from 18/02/2016 to 24/02/2016 115,00 € after the 24/02/2016 230,00 €
