BIO for Dr. Diane J. Fulton

Dr. Fulton is presently a tenured Full Professor and was formerly the Associate Dean and Interim Dean of the College of Business at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia. She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malaysia and a Program Manager for CARE in Belize, Central America before starting her career in higher education. From Assistant Dean in Northeastern University’s School of Business she became Interim Dean of Faculty at the University of Wisconsin Superior, Dean of the School of Business and Mass Communication at Brenau University, MBA Director at Claflin and Program Manager for Undergraduate Business at Troy University in Augusta, Georgia.

Diane completed her Ph.D. in Strategic Management and International Business at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Her research interests extend from Ethics, Sex in Advertising, Psychology and Economics of the Middle Class, the Tween Market and Minority Entrepreneurship to Competitive Intelligence. She has been published in the Journal of Academic and Business Ethics, Journal of Management and Marketing Research, Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences, Journal of Small Business, the Journal of Business Strategies, Organizational Dynamics, Planning Review, The Journal of College Teaching and Learning, The Journal of Financial and Strategic Decisions, the International Journal of Value-Based Management and The International Journal for Culture, Knowledge and Change Management.

Dr. Fulton has been a consultant for the World Bank working on the Six Universities Project in Indonesia as well as teaching Executive MBA Programs in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia. Her specialties in teaching include Global Leadership, International Business and Global Logistics, and Organizational Behavior. She has also conducted workshops on strategic planning, personal career strategies, and selection of the right location when going overseas. Presently she is grant writing and fundraising to stop violence and empower women leaders in Sierra Leone with Mediators Beyond Borders International and around the world as Treasurer of UN Women, Georgia Chapter.
