Here are a few of the major assignments that will be due during the 2nd week of winter quarter (this is not a complete schedule for the 2nd week):
A&P:
1. Make a study tool for the Nervous System
2. Post at least 1 study pneumonic for the Nervous System on our class Wiki (located in Moodle A&P II top of page)
Injury Evaluation & Treatment:
1. Read Chapters 1-3 in Condition Specific Massage Therapy
2. Read Salvo chapter 26 Clinical Massage for Sport’s & Rehab
3. Complete Salvo self test p735 & 736
Pathology:
1. Read Werner Pathology Chapter p 85-128
(that is just part of the musculoskeletal chapter, not the entire chapter)
2. Complete Pathology musculoskeletal questions Part 1 on Moodle
Kinesiology:

Extra Credit Opportunities:
Communication I or Massage II:
Do morning pages for 1 month. I won’t read your morning pages (I don’t want to see them), but you will need to write up a 1 page reflection about the activity and how it affected your massage practice.

Kinesiology II:
Draw and list OIA of muscles from the Massage II Workbook (you can make copies of this from the Workbook in the classroom & on our class website:

Read Ileopsoas article & practice Iliopsoas stretches &/or release on self & clients. Summarize articles and write notes about your process of learning how to get in touch with your own iliopsoas and release your clients’ ileopsoas.
Read Fans of the Hip article and write a 1 page summary.
Massage II:
Go to the American Massage Therapy Association Convention or the AMTA Convention student day ($15).
