Physical Health Services

1. Physical Health Psychological Services:

Team Manager: Dr Pádraig McDonnell, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Head of Physical Health Psychological Services (Citywide) (Tel No. 0161 2916971)

Services include the following specialisms throughout Manchester: Neuropsychology/Neurorehabilitaton, Stroke, Burns, Family History relating to Breast Canc er risk, Oncology, Transplant, Renal Medicine, Pain, Intensive Care, Chronic Fatigue Progr amme, Respiratory Medicine/Asthma, Sleep Disorders, HIV, Cystic Fibrosis, Generic Physic al Health referrals from multiple medical/surgical specialisms.

2. Health and Wellbeing Services:

Team Manager: Ms Bridget Hughes, General Manager (Health and Well Being Division) (Te l No. 0161 8821106)

Services include: Oral health, Physical Activity Referral Scheme, Health and Well Being services, South Man chester Healthy Living Network, GoodHealth Manchester Training

3. Later Life Services:

Team Manager: Ms Alison Marriott, Acting Associate Director (Later Life/Specialist Service s) (Tel No. 0161 8822093)

Services include: Later Life Supporting Health Nurses working with serious mental illness in relation to physic al health needs

4. Infection Prevention and Control:

Where People Matter Most Team Manager: Ms Sandra Walker, Lead Nurse in Infection Prevention and Control (Tel No. 07423 455256)

5. Community Mental Health Teams/Inpatient Psychiatric Care Wards

Multiple Managers/Teams

Services include: All inpatients receive a physical health assessment upon admission to ward environments a s standard. Within CMHTs, a key part of care coordination is to consider service users’ phy sical health needs alongside their mental health needs.
