Appendix A: Troubleshooting

Device does not power up? OR Nothing is displayed on the LCD screen? Solution: - Make sure the switch of the device is turned on (see Section 2.1). - Make sure the battery is charged (see Section 1.2)

This happens every time a destination address is selected before the device displays your current location on the screen. For best performance, wait 30-60 seconds until your current location is displayed and then select your destination address.

Lost your power adapter? Solution: Please purchase a 5V power adapter from the market

The battery gets discharged very quickly? Solution: Switch off the device when not in use to conserve battery-life of the device

The LCD screen is too dim or the image is flickering? Solution: Recharge the battery

Adapter and device gets too hot? Solution: - Stop recharging the device, its been charging for a very long time - Purchase a new 5V power adapter
