On Motion of Ms. Lee-Sheng, Seconded by ______, the Following Resolution Was Offered

On motion of Ms. Lee-Sheng, seconded by ______, the following resolution was offered: RESOLUTION NO. ______A resolution granting permission to Prime Productions, represented by Ms. Dottie Belletto to erect reviewing stands on parish property on the north side of Veterans Blvd., east and west of Tolmas Drive; 3609 Veterans Boulevard, and on the neutral ground on north side of Veterans Blvd. near Houma Blvd.; and just east of Causeway on the neutral ground for the Carnival Season commencing on February 25, 2011, and ending on March 20, 2011, Irish-Italian Parade with construction beginning on or about December 6, 2010, and reviewing stands are to be removed no later than April 20, 2011. (Council District 5) WHEREAS, Lakeside Shopping Center is unable to permit reviewing stand in front of Lakeside’s property due to new parking lot. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL, JEFFERSON PARISH, LOUISIANA, acting as governing authority for the said Parish: SECTION 1. That permission be and is hereby granted to Prime Productions, represented by Ms. Dottie Belletto to erect reviewing stands on parish property on the north side of Veterans Blvd., east and west of Tolmas Drive; 3609 Veterans Boulevard, and on the neutral ground on north side of Veterans Blvd. near Houma Blvd.; and just east of Causeway on the neutral ground for the Carnival Season commencing on February 25, 2011, and ending on March 20, 2011, Irish-Italian Parade with construction beginning on or about December 6, 2010, and reviewing stands are to be removed no later than April 20, 2011. (Council District 5) SECTION 2. This resolution is granted with the full understanding that said applicant shall comply with all parish codes and regulations. SECTION 3. That the Parish Council Clerk forward a copy of this resolution to Ms. Dottie Belletto, 915 Athania Pkwy., Metairie, LA 70001, Jefferson Parish Departments of Inspection and Code Enforcement, Fire Department, Citizens’ Affairs and Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
