Feedback on Carnival  It was suggested by the PPT Leadership team to call volunteers prior to the carnival to inform them of their specific assigned job and times to arrive and leave.  Tickets were discussed and many felt that they need to be done differently. Student Council ran out of tickets and the total amount of tickets used a lot of paper. It was suggested that AEN use wrist bands that cost $3.00 or $5.00. It was confusing to know exactly how many tickets each student had. It was difficult to know which students didn’t have any tickets or enough to do everything, whereas, some students had too many.

Pumpkin Parade The PPT Leadership team suggested AEN to rethink the procedure of the Pumpkin Parade. It was suggested to split the parade by grade level and do it on a different day than the Fall Carnival.

Cafeteria Help A sign-up sheet was passed around and several PPT Leaders signed up to help in the cafeteria during the student’s lunch.

Can Food Drive (November 18th) AEN had a huge turnout! As of November 16th, AEN exceeded their goal of 2,000 food items. The total was at 2,400! Thursday, November 18th will be the last day with winners announced on Friday morning’s announcements. Helping Hands for Jesus will be at the school around 11:00 on Friday to pick up the food items, student council will help load along with any PPT Leader’s help available.

Fund Raiser Delivery (December 7th) The company does an excellent job at having everything organized for pickup. Only a few volunteers will be needed on that day. Mrs. Hall has the names of the PPT Leaders that have volunteered. The time of delivery will be announced closer to the date and an “all call” will be made the night before, Monday, December 6th. Santa Pictures (December 3rd) Mary Welch, Amy Hanks and Tara Monrose volunteered to help with pictures.

Santa Shop (December 6th – 10th) Thelma Hernandez briefly explained the Santa shop to the PPT Leadership Team. It was discussed that many volunteers would be needed for the week – not just third grade parents. The first day is always busy as all classes will have an opportunity to walk through and make their wish lists. The Santa Shop this year will be set up in the Library. It was suggested that a sign-up sheet be posted in the office so that more parents would be able to sign up to help.

Class Parties (December 17th) All room parents need to communicate with their teacher(s) as soon as possible to discuss class party arrangements. PPT will not meet again before the parties.
