Procedure

1. Log into the EMPLOYEE PORTAL on the HISD website (www.houstonisd.org).

2. On the Portal’s homepage: Navigate to the left hand column, scroll to the very bottom and click on PeopleSoft Sign-In. PeopleSoft 9.1 : Running an Employee Training History Report

3. Enter your PeopleSoft log-in information.

4. Use the following navigation: Main Menu -> HISD Custon -> Enterprise Learning -> Reports -> Employee Training Reports. PeopleSoft 9.1 : Running an Employee Training History Report

5. Select SEARCH.

6. Enter YOUR Department ID in the space next to DEPARTMENT, and press the Tab key on your keyboard. The school name should pop up on the side. In this example, we used Austin HS.

7. Change the Format to CSV. This will produce an Excel document and allow you to filter for the specific training you want to see.

8. Select PROCESS MONITOR PeopleSoft 9.1 : Running an Employee Training History Report

9. Click REFRESH until “Run Status” reads SUCCESS and “Distribution Status” reads POSTED.

Once this is done, select DETAILS.

10. Select the .csv file at the TOP. PeopleSoft 9.1 : Running an Employee Training History Report

11. You will get a prompt asking what to do with the file.

a. If you want to save it, select SAVE AS and change the file extension to xlsx. From here you will need to open the file in Microsoft Excel.

b. If you do not want this saved onto your computer, select OPEN.

**Depending on the version of Excel you have, you may get one or two more prompts. Select YES, to both. PeopleSoft 9.1 : Running an Employee Training History Report

12. If you selected OPEN, an Excel document should open immediately.

13. Under the Data tab, select Filter. This will be the icon with the funnel. Click the drop down arrow about the row titled “course”.

**You will see that all courses have been selected.

Click the “Select All” box, clear all selections.

To check participation status of the Teacher A & D System, Select Course, EL1604, and DC1604. PeopleSoft 9.1 : Running an Employee Training History Report

14. The “Status” column shows you each individual’s participation status (complete, incomplete, no show etc).
