Terms and Conditions

The appliance is covered by a statutory 12 month parts and labour warranty from the date of installation, which can be extended to a total of 36 or 60 (Premier Pack or Premier Pack Plus) months from the date of installation, if the appliance is registered with Hunt Heating within 30 days of installation. The following terms and conditions apply, but do not affect your statutory rights;

1. Hunt Heating’s only obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or replace faulty parts or the appliance at our discretion. This will be carried out if a fault arises from defects within the appliance, resulting from either faulty materials or workmanship. 2. Repair or replacement of the appliance or any parts under this warranty does not lengthen or renew the warranty period. 3. The warranty is not transferable and is only offered to the original purchaser of the appliance and applies to equipment purchased and used in Australia. 4. Hunt Heating cannot accept responsibility for any costs associated with attendance and repair of the appliance by third parties not authorised by Hunt Heating, and will not settle any invoices arising from this. 5. This warranty does not include costs of consumables or accessories, wear and tear, normal scheduled maintenance, damage to property, personal injury, direct or indirect loss, consequential losses or other expenses. 6. Hunt Heating will not accept responsibility for damage caused by faulty installation, neglect, misuse, and non-observance of the instructions contained in the manufacturer’s instructions. 7. The appliance must only be used for the purpose in which it is designed. 8. The appliance must be installed and commissioned by a licenced operative, complying with manufacturer’s instructions and current laws and legislations in force. 9. The appliance must be serviced as per the manufacturer’s instructions, as a minimum, once every 24 months, by a licensed operative and recorded in the appliance log book located within the manufactures instructions. 10. This warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of the appliance flue and/or flue terminal. 11. This warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of parts damaged by scale, sludge or other debris in the system. 12. This warranty does not cover accidental damage or damage caused by third parties, including damage caused by animals and insect infestations. 13. This warranty does not cover damage or corrosion to the boiler and case caused by salty sea water/air, fire, floods, extreme weather conditions or acts of God. 14. The appliance must be registered with Hunt Heating within 30 days of installation to claim extended warranty. 15. Proof of purchase and certificate of compliance must be provided. 16. The heat exchanger 10 year warranty (Intec models only) covers the heat exchanger component only against faulty material and workmanship, the heat exchanger warranty does not cover the cost of labour if the standard/extended warranty period has expired. All other terms and conditions apply. 17. All components of Premier Pack/ Premier Pack Plus must be installed to validate full 60 month warranty. 18. If the boiler is connected, partially or fully to a system consisting of pipework without an oxygenated barrier then the product warranty will be void.
