Section 38-73-515(A) of the 1976 Code is amended 22 to read: 23 24 “(A) Each insurer issuing a policy of workers’ compensation 25 insurance shall offer, as a part of the policy or as an optional 26 endorsement to the policy, deductibles optional to the policyholder 27 for benefits payable under Title 42. Deductible amounts offered 28 must be disclosed fully to the prospective policyholder in writing 29 in the amount of one hundred dollars, two hundred dollars, three 30 hundred dollars, four hundred dollars, five hundred dollars, or 31 increments of five hundred dollars up to a maximum of two 32 thousand five hundred five thousand dollars for each compensable 33 claim. The policyholder exercising the deductible option shall 34 choose only one deductible amount.” 35 36 SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the 37 Governor. 38 ----XX---- 39
