ENTRIES CLOSE 25th October, 2014 (Entries taken on the day ONLY for youngstock purchased at the FPS Sale on October 25th). Class 1 - Filly Foal Best Filly Foal trophy donated by Mr. WS Potter, Greenholme Stud. Class 2 – Colt Foal Best colt foal trophy donated by Mr. C. Roberts, Bybeck Stud.
Foal Championship: 1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 1 & 2 to compete. Champion Foal Trophy donated by Mr. TB Capstick, Murthwaite Stud.
Class 3 – Yearling, colt, filly or gelding Class 4 – Two-Year Old, filly or gelding Class 5 – Three Year Old, filly or gelding
Youngstock Championship: 1st and 2nd prize winners from Classes 3, 4 and 5 to compete for the Laura Memorial Trophy - kindly donated by Catherine Wrigley.
Supreme Championship: Foal Champion and Reserve, and Youngstock Champion and Reserve, to compete for The Brackenbank Trophy – kindly donated by the Wilkinson family.
Specials: Challenge Cup, presented by Mr. & Mrs RD Howe, will be awarded to the highest placed Hill Bred Foal.
Fell Pony Breeder's Association Gold Shield Rosette to be presented to the highest placed filly foal in Class 1, owned by a full or family member of the FPBA, and which has not won this award in a previous show in 2014. Rosette will be awarded at the FPBA Autumn AGM.
Lownthwaite Stud 125 years commemorative rosettes will be awarded to the winners of Class 2 and Class 5.
RULES - Exhibitors MUST be current fully paid-up Members of the Fell Pony Society. - All ponies (including foals) must be issued with an FPS Passport - Fell Pony Society Showing Rules will apply. A copy of the FPS Showing Handbook can be found here: http://www.fellponysociety.org.uk/judging_guidelines.htm ENTRY FORM Entries close Saturday 25th October 2014. 'Youngstock bought at the FPS Sale ONLY can be entered on the day, subject to the owner producing their current FPS Membership Card and Passport on the day, the Passport will need to have the owner details recorded prior to the show, ie on sale day.'
