NEW TOOLS OFFERED IN METABO’S 2007/2008 PRODUCT CATALOG

WEST CHESTER, Pa., March 2007 – Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, has just released its 2007/2008 general catalog for power tools, accessories and abrasives. Additions to this year’s catalog include 14 new tools from Metabo, such as new drills, screwdrivers, hammer drills/drivers, rotary hammers, angle grinders and sanders. New accessories are also detailed in the catalog.

Specification information for all of Metabo’s drills, screwdrivers, rotary hammers, bench top woodworking tools, saws, sanders, grinders, abrasives and accessories is provided in the updated catalog, as well as descriptions of various product features unique to Metabo’s quality power tools. Some of these features are Metabo’s “Quick” wheel change system, which allows tool-less wheel changes; Metabo’s safety clutch, which allows users to maintain control in event of a jam; air-cooled technology, which provides faster charging times and increased battery life; Vario Tacho Constamatic (VTC) electronics, which helps the tool maintain nearly 100 percent of the no-load speed, even under heavy loads; and Metabo’s long life motors with winding protection grids, which make the tools resistant to destructive dust. -more- MET-A-9378
