Cost & Prizes:  There is an entry fee of £5.00, payable in advance (please make cheques payable to ‘Wiltshire Junior Chess’).  You can have a reduction of 50% off your entry fee if you bring a chess playing friend who has not played in a Fun Day before and who plays in this Fun Day.  There is a family price of £11.00 for three or more paying children of the same immediate family.  Every child will receive a certificate.  There will be trophies for the winners and runners up as follows:  U9 section – U9, U8 and U7 trophies. U11 section – U11 and U10 trophies. U18 section – U18, U14 and U12 trophies.  A prize will be given to the best novices (a child who hasn’t played in a Chess Fun Day in a previous season, and who hasn’t won a prize at a previous Chess Fun Day, this season).  In the U18 section there will be cash prizes. As a minimum there will be: 1st place £20, 2nd place £10, 3rd place £5.
