Job Description

Position: Trade Marketing Executive

Reporting to: Group Client Manager

Location: Head Office

Primary Function:

To provide support to Client Managers in order to achieve profitable sales and distribution of their clients’ products within specific accounts, in line with client and company objectives and operating standard.

Key Responsibilities:

 To provide on-going support for both Client Managers  Regular client contact for designated clients  Total channel management responsibilities for the Grocery Convenience and Pharmacy channels  Attend and present all brands at the relevant Pharmacy Cycle meetings and Convenience quarterly review meetings  Maintaining sales numbers and forecasts for clients  Managing trade marketing budgets and marketing accruals for clients  Evolving sales collateral for the various client brands (sales presentations, price lists, market data)  Coordinating materials such as point of sale and samples for clients, customers and trade shows  Compiling performance monitors and weekly updates for sales teams & clients  Maintaining new line form information for our logistics partner Alloga and clients  Managing stock into Alloga and liaising with the logistics team when generating orders  Managing short code stock logistics with clients and sales teams  Manage production of in-store POS materials  Feed-back competitor activity / market trends / trade news to the client  Conduct market analysis reports for NPD projects and compile bottom up forecasts  Provide the clients with regular EPOS / sales analysis reports  Work with National Accounts teams as appropriate on partnership marketing initiatives and attend account meetings when appropriate  Achieve and maintain company administrative standards  To carry out any other reasonable task or tasks in connection with the job function, as requested by the Client Managers Knowledge & Skills base:

 Operational Experience in the Health and Beauty Market  Proven record of achievement in this area  Exposure to dealing with national and key accounts, particularly in the Convenience or Pharmacy sectors  PC literate  Analytical skills  Presentation skills
