YMCA OF NORTHAST LOUISIANA 2015 YMCA CHEER LEAGUE REGISTRATION FORM

REGISTRATION: Early Registration Fee: $40.00 April 1st – April 15th

Registration Fee: $45.00 April 16th – May 15th

Late Registration Fee: $50.00 May 16th – May 30th

 Acceptable forms of payment are checks, credit/debit cards and money orders only. NO CASH.  Please make checks or money orders payable to YMCA.  Money orders must be signed, and completely filled out with the child’s name written on it.  Registration fee does not include the cost of a YMCA CHEER uniform.  Uniforms range from $100 (used) to $250 (new). Fundraisers may be held by the YMCA CHEER Sponsors, Coaches, Teams, Schools and CHEER Volunteers to offset the cost of uniforms.  All YMCA CHEER Uniforms MUST be purchased through Jenifer Armstrong of Varsity Spirit Fashion She can be reached at 318-614-6325 or [email protected]  No refunds after May 15th for any reason. $10 processing fee on ALL REFUNDS. $25 charge on all returned checks.

at www.ynela.org, or pick up a form at the front desk of a CHEER SPONSORED SCHOOL.

 Please mail registration forms to the YMCA, 1505 Stubbs Ave, Monroe, LA 71201 with check, money

order or completed credit/debit information on form by May 30th.

 Please make sure you keep pages 1 and 2 of this form, and turn in pages 3 and 4 to the

 Register at the “YMCA CHEER ROUND UP” located at each YMCA CHEER SPONSORED SCHOOL, or

the YMCA office from 10:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, May 30th – Registration Fee $50 on this

The YMCA CHEER SEASON coincides with the YMCA YOUTH SPORTS CALENDAR YEAR of April – December

 Basketball Season (Mid-April through Mid-May)  Football Season (Late August – Late October)  YMCA CHEER Sponsors may also choose to participate in parades and special events year round. WHEN & WHERE WILL WE PRACTICE AND CHEER?  The YMCA handles CHEER registration and signup. Once registration ends on May 30th, the CHEER

SPONSORS for your child’s team will be your primary point of contact for uniforms, practice and

game information. WHAT IF MY CHILD’S SCHOOL DOES NOT HAVE A YMCA CHEER TEAM?

The YMCA CHEER LEAGUE is volunteer led by YMCA CHEER SPONSORS. In order for your child’s school to have a team, they must have a minimum of ONE CHEER SPONSOR PER 12 CHEERLEADERS. In the

CLOSEST GEOGRAPHIC PROXIMITY to their home school based on slots available on the remaining teams.

You are NOT GUARANTEED a slot on your child’s home school team. Teams are assembled by the YMCA by age group, on a first-come, first serve basis. Space is limited so we suggest you register early.
