Kingdom: ______

Directions: This week we will have a 2 part project: 1) Take notes on a Medieval Africa Kingdom with a group, and 2) Present the notes in a news TV broadcast to teach the class. Look below for all the specific details.

What this project includes:

1. Day One = Notes For one class period your group will use the Journey Across Time Book and reference materials to gather information about your kingdom. You will have a note template where you fill out: Location, Government, History, Economy, and an Interesting Fact. The notes will be put in a template and taped in your spiral.

2. Day Two/Three- Broadcast Creation Using your note template and script outline the entire group will create a broadcast in which you will present your kingdom to the class. 2. Time: The entire broadcast should last between 5-10 minutes. Each person in your group should have talking time.

3. Factual Information: While you may make the presentation in a news broadcast theme each audience member must be able to take notes and fill in the chart about your kingdom.

4. Script: The scripts are due during class on ______(Day) at the end of class before you present. 5. Class time: Use your class time wisely. AKTV NEWS SCRIPT:
