The only that needs be done is to verify that the accounts in Strategy Live match the accounts in QuickBooks. This guide will instruct users on how to set this up and then import the transfer file that was created by Strategy Live.

**STRATEGY LIVE IS NOT CAPABLE OF TRANSFERRING INTO QUICKBOOKS ONLINE OR SIMPLE START.**

Account Mapping To check the account numbers in Strategy Live, go to Administration> Account Setup. You can navigate and view the different account types by using the Account type dropdown at the top center of the window.

The numbers or letters in the Account field need to be exactly the same as they are in QuickBooks. If you do not have any accounts setup in QuickBooks then you can name them however you want and the accounts will be automatically be created in QuickBooks when the transfer file is imported.

To check the account numbers in QuickBooks, go to Lists> Chart of Accounts. This will display the entire Chart of Accounts in the navigator window. The Name column is the account number that should match Strategy Live.

Strategy Systems, Inc. 1 Importing the Transfer File The process to import the transfer file created by Strategy Live is a very simple process. Go to File> Import> IIF Files… This will open an Import window. Here you need to click Desktop and change the Files of type: to All Files.

Choose the Desktop for your search location.

Change the Files of Type: to All Files.

Select your file from the list of files and click the Open button. This will open a window that’s says Your data has been imported. This is all it takes to transfer your invoices to QuickBooks.
