Dear Parents and Carers,

Well, Wednesday will soon be here and we are all very excited for our whole school trip to the Dukes!

Here is the plan;

12.00 We will all eat lunch as normal. 1.05pm The whole school will walk down Candle Lane to meet our coaches from Traveller's Choice. 1.45pm Arrive at The Dukes Theatre in Lancaster. 2.00pm Pinocchio begins! 3.00pm Interval - We will provide drinks, etc (children must not bring drinks or snacks). 4.15pm Performance finishes. 4.20pm Traveller's Choice Coaches collect us from the Dukes Theatre. 4.20pm ish! You will receive a text message informing you that we have left Lancaster. 4.45pm ish! We hope to be back at school! The children will need to come back into school to get their bags and will be dismissed by their teacher, from the playground, in the usual way. It is most important to inform your class teacher if someone other than yourself is collecting your child from school. ClassDojo is the most effective way to do this.

A few pointers;  Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the cost of your child's ticket if they are absent from school on Wednesday, as the tickets have already been purchased.  Violin lessons have been cancelled for Wednesday lunchtime.  Gymnastics has been rearranged to Thursday, however, Choir members will be expected to attend Choir, not Gymnastics, as they need to practice for Christmas performances.  Children must not bring their own snacks or drinks - these will be provided. If your child has a specific dietary requirement or allergy, please speak to your class teacher.
