Visa Requirements for Paraguay

VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR PARAGUAY TOURIST VISA

1. Two VISA Application Forms fully completed and signed by the applicant. Photocopies of the filled application will not be accepted. 2. Two recent passport-size color photographs, with white background. 3. Two photocopies of the Passport (1, 2 and last page). Passport should have minimum validity of six months from the intended date of entry into Paraguay. 4. Original of police Record / Clearance Certificate, duly notarized and legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India. 5. Round- trip tickets, the travel itinerary, in advance, (with confirmed bookings). 6. Invitation Letter, from Paraguay, if any. 7. Proof of economic solvency. Bank state statement, from last 6 months (+2 copies) or 2 copies of credit card.

Other requirements:

1. For those participating in conferences, seminars, artistic or sports events, an invitation from Organizer directly sent to the Embassy’s fax, is required in advance. 2. For Indian nationals, who reside in Paraguay, if they marry in India and wish to return to Paraguay with their spouses, they should present their Civil Marriage Certificate from the office of the Registrar of Marriages, duly notarized and legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India. 3. For people not of Indian nationality: Besides these, (1 to 7), they have to fulfill the following: (a) It will be necessary to bring photocopy of Indian VISA and immigration stamp of entry into India, if it is that country’s requirement. (b) Police Clearance Certificate from applicant’s country or last residence, duly notarized and legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. THE FEES FOR A SINGLE VISA IS U$D 65.00 (valid for one entry only) 2. THE FEES FOR A MULTIPLE VISA IS U$D 100.00 (valid for multiple entries).

IMPORTANT:

 Applications must be submitted in advance, to the Embassy, by post.  An interview will be held by the Embassy after processing the visa.  Applicants will have to attend the interview in person. Note: DO NOT send your original passport by post (only copies as indicated above. Passport should be presented at the time of interview).  First entry into Paraguay must be made within 90 days from the date the VISA is issued. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure that the application is obtained accordingly.  VISA processing may take at least 15 days.
