*Job Requirements *Job Description Lead the activities of the Business Compliance Services (BCS) function under the direction of the Manager, BCS. The role will supervise the Access Management Team daily activities, as well as any necessary policies/processes related to the BCS functions. Partner with client groups to build and implement compliance plans to meet PJM’s business priorities. Provide direction and guidance to the compliance function to develop programs and strategies to best address organizational issues.

THE SENIOR CONSULTANT’S, ROLE IS TO ENSURE THAT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE DEVELOPED, OPERATED, AND MAINTAINED IN A RELIABLE AND SECURE MANNER.

In support of PJM’s Vision and Mission, the Sr. Consultant will work with the manager and develop, communicate and implement effective strategies that support short, mid- and long-term growth objectives that affect the continual development of PJM’s compliance operations. The Sr. Consultant will keep pace with the demands of a rapidly growing business, anticipate problems and synthesize appropriate solutions, and provide the technical leadership necessary to effectively implement these compliance related initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sr. Consultant will assist the manager in finding innovative solutions to continue to provide operational efficiencies in PJM’s compliance programs. In this context, the duties and responsibilities of the Sr. Consultant, Business Compliance Services includes the following:

 Provides leadership to staff in the completion of complex technology assignments that support present and future compliance and access management needs.  Instructs, leads, assigns work, or provides technical assistance/training to subordinates and technical/professional personnel as required.  Prepares reports and presentations as necessary to support activities associated with compliance and access management.  Lead the development and communication of effective compliance strategies that support continual evolution of efficient compliance processes and procedures to assure compliance with all regulatory requirements including SSAE-16 and NERC-CIP.  Lead projects, including the development of project plans and resource assessments. Manage the work within a project or cost center initiative. Manage project budgets  Build and develop strong relationships with all business area clients by providing superior customer support as demonstrated by clearly owning,

Template Version 1.1: 02/21/07 Page 1 of 3 resolving and communicating issues and problems; being responsive to needs, requirements, and deadlines  Assist the Manager in the preparation of the overall departmental budget for inclusion in overall company budgeting process  Provide the Manager with input on performance of staff members  Assist project teams in the development of new technologies that affect the compliance function  Assist in the mentoring of department personnel to work independently, train, guide, or assist others to perform complex duties  Oversee the development of performance indicators for the department and report them as appropriate  Develop and implement tactical plans consistent with the departmental strategy.  Establish a sense of urgency to complete tasks in an efficient and cost-effective manner.  Evaluate vendor proposal for project(s) 1* Approve contractor time sheets 2* Participate in the development of policies and procedures as well as recommending improvements 3* Ensure that communications occur between project team members, staff and the customer 4* Lead Root Cause Analysis and develop corrective actions as they relate to compliance Lead communications and coordination of large and or impactful changes to PJM compliance program 5* Communicates complex technical and compliance initiatives to multiple levels of management

Required:

6* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or equivalent work experience. 7* 2-3 years’ experience in a compliance role dealing with NERC CIP compliance programs and/or SSAE16 compliance programs.  Proven results in developing, implementing and managing a compliance program  In-depth understanding of NERC CIP reliability standards and/or Sarbanes-Oxley and/or PCI or related standards including: Creation of documents and retrieval of data requests.  Experience in access or identity management processes and procedures.  Experience with corporate and governmental compliance requirements in the areas of access management, personnel risk assessment (PRA), mandatory training, and policy creation and enhancement.  Demonstrated experience leading teams in either a project leadership or direct supervisory role.  Good organizational skills to manage broad responsibilities prioritize and meet deadlines and work under his/her own initiative.  Demonstrated experience working autonomously and as a team player influencing others' attitudes and behaviors through example.  Proven track record of establishing and implementing long-range programs in the areas of compliance and training  Ability to formulate and maintain, in collaboration with Manager and Director, compliance policies and processes which support company and regulatory requirements  Prior experience in progressively responsible roles with a track record of success.

Preferred:

 Masters of Business Administration  One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA  Previous experience with an Identity Management or Access Management Solution and the associated processes  Creative, entrepreneurial outlook  Ability to foster effectiveness in diverse work groups

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or equivalent work experience. Certification(s): One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA
