∞ CMC Conference Debriefing - Ms. Sims attended a workshop on Geometer Sketch Pad lessons and was interested in purchasing the license to use in her class and recommends we should purchase them for the department - Dr. Carrillo attended a workshop on….

∞ Looking at Lessons - Dr. Carrillo shared a lesson he executed with his students on identifying angles - Dr. Carrillo gave the students a post-test, an activity, then a post-test - The group looked at the student work and discussed the data presented by Dr. Carrillo
∞ Geometry and Algebra II Curriculum Before the PD was over we went around the room and asked the teachers what types of things they thought were important to discuss and work on for the next PD meeting: - Concept lessons for each standard of the MIG ??? - Algebra 2 order to prepare for the CST – Sims - Algebra 2 order – Tello - Common Assessment for Algebra 2 – Sekiyoba - Algebra 2 order and breakdown of quarters/ semesters – Macias - Algebra 2 order and breakdown of time and conceptual lessons in Geometry – Carrillo - Algebra 2 timeline or organizer – Sapien - Conceptual order for Algebra 2 – Marquez, R - SAIT recommendation and addressing CST deficiencies and how we are going to address it on all subject levels – Rodriguez - CST release questions on a daily basis, looking at how many CST questions there are for each concept and figure out a timeline for teaching these concepts – Leal - Develop warm-ups to practice for the CST - Chin - Working on Concept lessons for Geometry, put CST release questions on transparencies for warm-ups - Gasser - What should we teach for Geometry and Algebra 2 - Gazarian
