Rhys Millen: Performance Driver
With over 20 years racing experience, Rhys Millen has carved out a solid career and reputation becoming one of the most sought after performance drivers in the U.S. Winner of the 2015 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Rhys once again proved that he is a drift/rally/stunt driver extraordinaire finishing with the fastest time of the day, breaking a record with an electric vehicle and was named the winner. He also won the inaugural Red Bull World Championship in 2008 in his 500-horsepower, turbocharged Pontiac Solstice GXP and has two wins of the Formula D drifting series under his belt.
You’ll recognize some of Millen’s recent stunt driving work – driving the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat in Pennzoil's Airlift Drift. He’s also been featured in a variety of movies including “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and “Dukes of Hazzard”. While Millen enjoys taking the green flag, he really enjoys being able to combine the on-track activity with the off-track engineering.
Millen is the son of famed rally and off-road racer Rod Millen. Rhys joined Rod in the U.S as a teenager and founded Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) at the age of 21. RMR is an automotive tuning and parts shop concentrating on rally, drift and movie car preparation.
