Board of County Commissioners Regular Public Meeting Monday, October 17, 2016 The Board of County Commissioners in and for Wakulla County, Florida met for a Regular Public Meeting on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with Chairman Ralph Thomas presiding. Present were Commissioners Randy Merritt, Richard Harden, Jerry Moore and Howard Kessler. Also present were County Administrator David Edwards, County Attorney Heather Encinosa and Deputy Clerk Greg James.

The Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance were provided by Commissioner Harden. APPROVAL OF AGENDA (CD5:01) Commissioner Kessler requested to pull item (9) for discussion, Commissioner Thomas requested to pull item (7) for discussion, County Attorney made note that an item (12) had been revised and that an item (14) would be tabled to a future meeting. Commissioner Merritt moved to approve the agenda as amended; second by Commissioner Kessler and the motion passed unanimously, 5/0.

Request Board Approval to Authorize Overtime Pay to Hourly Employees Who Worked on a Designated County Holiday (Labor Day) as a Result of Hurricane Hermine Commissioner Moore moved to Approve to Authorize Overtime Pay to Hourly Employees Who Worked on a Designated County Holiday (Labor Day) as a Result of Hurricane Hermine; second by Commissioner Moore and the motion passed unanimously, 5/0.

Application for Final Plat FP16-02 – Scenic Stream Subdivision Phase 2 Commissioner Merritt moved to Approve to Conduct the Final Public Hearing and Approve the Application for Final Plat FP16-02 and Accept Both the “Warranty Agreement” and “Maintenance Agreement and Bond”, based upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission and the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law Made by the Board and Any Evidence Submitted at the Hearing Hereon; second by Commissioner Moore and the motion passed unanimously, 5/0.
