As a potential tenant/purchaser, I am a consumer with rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. As part of the lease/rental/purchase agreement, I understand that a consumer report may be obtained from a consumer reporting agency. The consumer report may include the following: academic, residential, employment verification, credit report and criminal history records.

I may also have the right to request additional disclosures regarding the nature and scope of any consumer report procured as well as a written summary of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If requested, the consumer reporting agency will explain the contents of my file and provide me with a complete copy of all reports obtained by the consumer reporting agency.
