1. What is the mean average cost per night for each of the below types of temporary accommodation in the 2013-2014 financial year?

Temporary Accommodation Mean average cost per night Hostel places (please £27.85 separate support costs) B&Bs £26.00 Refuges Not held LA/HA stock Not applicable Private sector lease by LA or £28.39 HA Other private sector Not applicable accommodation

For homeless application cases closed in 2013/14, from their first night in temporary accommodation, how many nights did households accepted as homeless, regardless of when the application was made, spend in the below types of temporary accommodation, how many households this was for and what was the maximum length of stay in temporary accommodation for any one household(s)?

Please break down the figures for (a) one person households and (b) all other household types (excluding one person households).

We do not hold this information broken down by number of nights in accommodation or household type- IT would not be reasonable for us to create reports to provide this information. However, the P1e’s do show the number of households with dependant children on 31/3/15 and then ‘other’ household type can be deducted from that total. These ‘other’ household types would be single people, couple and households made up of any number of adults.
