We have grown significantly from our original operation in 1954 to having two aggregate processing plants and two wood pellet facilities. We are currently looking for a Silo Operator to facilitate the fly ash treatment, quality assurance and the loading of trucks at the NSPI, Trenton Power Plant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 Ensuring that proper quality control measures are adhered to along with the testing, monitoring and reporting  Maintaining a clean, functional workplace which would include light cleaning and maintenance of equipment on site  Trouble shooting and problem solving various issues with the objective of a consistent quality product and customer satisfaction

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge  Ability to take a hands on approach to numerous duties and responsibilities  Have the competence to get other workforces/employers to want to help and assist you in your duties  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written  Strong team player and problem solving skills  Ability to multi-task  Good organizational skills, including administration and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)  Minimum Grade XII or equivalent This position is located in Trenton, NS and the successful candidate will be expected to report to work at this site but may occasionally be required to report elsewhere as needed.
