TO: PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS

The City of Holland, Holland, Michigan, will be selling surplus vehicles and other equipment as outlined on the attached specification sheet. Sealed bids will be received in the City of Holland Finance Office, 270 River Avenue, Holland MI 49423, until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The City of Holland reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to waive any irregularities in the bids received. Bids are to be irrevocable for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the bid opening and shall not be withdrawn, modified or altered after the bid opening. Vehicles and equipment may be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at the City of Holland Transportation Services Department, 333 Wyngarden Way (west side of Industrial Avenue between 40th and 48th Streets), Holland MI 49423. Please phone 616-928-2400 to schedule an appointment to view the vehicles and equipment between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Bids are to be submitted on the form attached and are to be submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked “VEHICLE/EQUIPMENT BID”. All sales are final. All vehicles and equipment SOLD AS IS with NO WARRANTY. Payment shall be made to the “City of Holland” either in cash or by cashier’s check and must be received no later than 10 days after the bids are opened. Vehicles will not be released until payment is received.
