COMMERCIAL COMMUNITY EVENTS - $2.50 per head ($2 +50c eco-tax) Defined as events where door takings are split between artists/organisers with any one act/person receiving a larger cut. For example, a band night with a headliner who gets a bigger cut, with supporting bands taking a proportionally smaller cut of the door takings. OTHER – price and conditions on application Including photo/film shoots, corporate functions, etc. Sorry, we can’t accommodate rehearsals. Venue costs: The overall costs involved in holding an event at the Red Rattler can vary depending on the event, however some standard fees apply to all events using the space. For most gigs your costs will be: The per-person venue split from the door (from 50c to $2.50 as defined above), plus $30p/hr techie fee to cover the Tech person for the night, and a security fee contribution ( $50-$200 - defending on event numbers ) These fees are expected to be settled on the night from the door takings in cash, unless prior alternative arrangements have been made with the venue. Requested date/s (please give a second choice if you can):

Open time: close: We can open from 7pm till midnight Sunday thru Thursday, and from 10am-1:45am on weekends/public holidays. It is up to you when your event starts and ends, however we reserve the right to put limitations on this according to our staffing and security capacity.

Expected number attending (we need to know this for our rostering for your event. Our capacity is 300 including organisers, performers and staff. The Rattler also reserves 4 tickets on the door for volunteers who support the ongoing viability of the space)

Can you provide bar staff with an RSA?

Do you wish minors to be allowed entry to your event? This needs to be pre-organised with us. If we agree to minors being admitted, they must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times.

Please note we do not have any inhouse band backline available. Full PA setup provided otherwise. We provide our own inhouse sound and lighting techs for your event.
