ENERGY WORKING GROUP MEETING MINUTES WEDNESDAY 12th SEPTEMBER 2014 WEST OFFICE

Minutes Actions 1) Introductions  No new introductions.

2) Declaration of interest  No interests declared.

3) Minutes of last meeting  Agreed.

4) Action from minutes.  Sub Group minutes to be circulated electronically. AR  AR to check with JP about energy insight content. AR  AR has confirmed that item 34 refers to all cavity walls.  AR to follow up whether energy training went into AR stars.

5) Action plan progress update  GA1 on hold due to changes in staff and until staff training is given out.  8, 5, 20, 30, 34 are all on track.  5 – GA to give detailed feedback on the current sap GA rating and initial review on whether we need to change to 80.  12a and 19 on track.  Action point 38 owner to be changed to GA. GA to GA update on how much funding has been achieved this financial year.  6) Fuel Poverty  AR circulated the ‘are you paying too much for your AR fuel?’

Page 1 of 3 ENERGY WORKING GROUP MEETING MINUTES  AR to circulate the fuel poverty calculator. AR  PD will band those who are under occupying and are in arrears.  ST will be visiting Balmoral blocks on the 12th September and he will get some of the forms filled out.

7) Energy Roadshows / Community Event  AR gave an update on how well the Sparky costume was received at the community events.  AR to speak to JP about feedback and outcomes of AR the Save for Life tent at the community event.

8) Energy Advice Service Update  Energy monitors to be placed in some of the ST properties in the Balmoral block as part of community developments project.Update of progress to be provided at the next meeting.

9) Training Update  AR confirmed that training is on track and that a draft AR should be available to by the end of next week. AR to circulate draft.  Training should be rolling out by the end of September. AR  AR to ask NEA about course updates.  HR to add to compulsory induction training.

10) Partnership Update  BS has had some missed calls from Stephen BS Russell’s boss, Tim Russell. Once BS has made contact and spoken to SSE he will provide the group with an update on progress.

11) Technologies Update  AR gave an update to the group on Bluegen and micro-CHP.  AR and GA to discuss which technology at the next AR & GA meeting.

12)Future Agenda Items  None to be added.

13) AOB  ST informed the group that Aaron Services are SP currently looking for an apprentice gas engineer. SP will speak to Mike / Mario about how the job should be advertised to staff and residents.  BS identified some thermal camera training and BS some fuel poverty training. BS to send to AR.
