Top News and Questions

1. Would people be suffering a post Legends party hangover and would the scoring suffer? Not really – it was not well-attended, as the prizes outnumbered the guests…It could very well be the “Last Annual Legends Party” vs. the “2nd Annual Legends Party!

Apparently most everyone saw the full moon and red lights on the way to the party and turned around!

…but lots of fun was still had!

2. Could the Thangs move one step closer to the #1 seed in the B League? NO! (not that it has done them any good in the past)

3. Could the Elders clinch the #1 seed in the Elite league and return to the Elite of the Elite after several down seasons? YES!

4. Could the Mantua rebound after their first loss? NO!

------Men’s Game of the Week – Terminators vs. Thangs (B League) First place in the B league, a much needed bye and pride were all on the line in this matchup. The Terminators took advantage of their superior size and managed to defeat the Thangs 56 to 52 to win the B League regular season title (which of course means nothing, but still sounds good). Armand ‘I never met a shot I didn’t like’ Belcher scored 21 and Copeland added 11 in the win. Scott Pitts led the Thangs with 19 while Goodson had 12. The Thangs were sorely missing Seay’s rebounding (who claimed he was sick) and Coach Thang’s witty banter.

Ladies Game of the Week – Wolves vs. B Team The Wolves pulled away late to defeat the B Team 54 to 42 and clinch first place for the Ladies League. Kaitlyn Conboy was shockingly not hung over after the huge Syracuse victory the night before and scored 16 points in the win, while Hardenbergh added 13. For the B team Stensrud had 18 while Adams and Flanigan each had 11.
