[email protected] Grundfos Unveils Innovative Approach to Intelligent Dosing at AWT 2013 New Dosing Compact System utilizes proven Grundfos technologies for a simple, modular design

UNCASVILLE, Conn. —Grundfos will introduce a patented new concept for intelligent chemical feed, the Dosing Compact System, at the Association of Water Technologies (AWT) 2013 Convention and Exposition Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 in Uncasville, Conn.

Designed primarily for water treatment, the Dosing Compact System controls the safe feed of chemicals using Grundfos’ unique SMART Digital pumps, which are variable speed micro-processor controlled metering pumps.

The system also features a new programmable logic-based dosing controller, a patented manifold design and a stylish, corrosion-free cabinet. It takes all of the common accessories and components in an engineered chemical feed skid, but simplifies use and adds intelligent flow control.

“While there are a variety of chemical feed system designs in the market, Grundfos’ Dosing Compact System stands out from the competition with improved chemical feed accuracy and simplified installations,” said Harland Pond, business development director. “Its unique manifold system and intelligent control options represent a major step forward in chemical feed technology.”

The Dosing Compact System concept takes advantage of the innovative design for which Grundfos has become recognized and, thanks to numerous options for the controllers and pumps, the system can be customized to any small or medium dosing application.

Attendees of the AWT Convention and Exposition can learn more about the Dosing Compact System in Grundfos’ booth, #506. Other featured products include the Grundfos Dosing Tank System, SMART Digital chemical feed pumps and Oxiperm Pro chlorine dioxide generation units.
