Dear Softball Participant:

Enclosed is the softball schedule, field directions, and rules for the Capitol Sports Association ASA 12 A and 16/18 open and ASA 10, 12, and 14 Recreation Fast pitch teams. The tournament is being held on June 10-11 at the NVLA Softball Complex in Napa, and Alan Witt and Laura Creek Park in Fairfield.

Each division will play a seeding round of three games on Saturday to determine placement for the single elimination tournament, which will take place on Sunday. While the Sunday game times is included in this package, the Sunday unfilled bracket will be posted Saturday at the tournament sites and on www.capitolsports.org by Wednesday evening.

On Saturday, managers are responsible for providing tournament personnel a phone number and contact person to obtain game time for the single elimination event.

Coaches, please let your members know the following. There is no gate fee at the fields. There will be concessions at NVLA. At NVLA, because homeruns can go into the parking lot, please park in spots where this is unlikely to have problems. No PETS at any facility. Chest with water only will be allowed at NVLA. This will be strictly enforced. All Ice chests will be inspected upon entering facility and a tag placed on top signifying they are approved.

If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 916-541-7829 any evening after 7:00 PM.
