Some People Believe The Aim Of University Education Is To Help Graduates Get Better Jobs

Some people believe the aim of university education is to help graduates get better jobs. Others believe there are much wider benefits of university education for both individuals and society.

The current worldwide economy, demand more professionals with more and specific skills. In these conditions if people want to get a job or get a better one, ought to learn the appropriate skills and or update their knowledge. In this context, university education is a must not an option, if people want to find a job or develop their own business not only to make their living, also to meet their personal goals.

In societies in process of development it is very difficult for people to pursue their university studies mainly for economics reasons. Also, few graduated students can get a job. As a result these countries have a higher level of unemployment which greatly contributes to people’s lack of financial resources to start or continue their studies in a university. People who believe there are much wider benefits of university education for both individuals and society it is true. Usually universities in developed countries are working side by side with the industry and commerce as well as the government to meet their needs since both benefit from the research and studies that is developed by different programs in the university. . In my experience, I was able to pursue my university studies and got my degree in psychology in Bolivia. Most of my peers and I were not able to work in our field and I was force to look for a job in other areas. I found a job as a coordinator of….that work introduced me in the political field of my country. I developed new skills that finally let me to discover my true passion that ignited my dreams to look for higher levels of education in International Development Studies In conclusion I believe that both thoughts combine together to define the aim of university studies.

Many people enjoy improving their knowledge as partly of their own professional realization too.

In my experience for a long time I did not consider that making a graduate was a prioritize because I did not understand its relevance in my life, but when years gone and I had less possibilities to get a good job. I was thinking the possibility to improve my studies. However the experiences that I was learning with the people of indigenous community motivated me to improve my studies to help them not because I am a philanthropist, if not I consider me as part of them.

When people knows about their history and about their situation in the world, they understood what is their place they have more clarity in their goals because they know about their roots and in consequences have the possibility to take decisions to building their own future in harmony with others. This is the way in that I consider is possible to get the human realization.

Usually mostly persons do not know which is the main purpose of their life, for this reason is important learning to learn and the life is all the time showed us the fears and prejudices of others to see in them our own fears and learn of them, For me decide to improve my studies is decide to help people but through them help to myself and my family too only if I am able to apply every thing that I learn. If not is only words that wind take away and nothing else.
