I. MEETING RESULTS

In accordance with the CAPCOG TRACS Committee by-laws, the TRACS Committee does not meet if less than five applications were received for review. Because we received only three applications, there was no meeting of the TRACS Committee during the month of January.

We forwarded TRACS Committee members the applicant’s information packet and a Project Review form they could fill out and fax or e-mail back to us with their review and comment. These were the results of that process:

OneStar Foundation The committee voted 9 – 2 - 1 for a FAVORABLE COMMENT. Ms. Marlene McMichael and Judge Wright voted UNFAVORABLE COMMENT. Judge Wright commented that he was unable to understand the purpose of the organization. Mr. Lamar Petersen gave a NO COMMENT.

City of Marble Falls The committee voted 12 - 0 for a FAVORABLE COMMENT. Mr. LaMarr Petersen voted NO COMMENT. Ms. Marge Trip commented that there was very little information included in the application.

City of Hutto The committee voted 12 - 0 for a FAVORABLE COMMENT. Mr. LaMarr Petersen, Ms. Marge Tripp and Judge Wright commented that this was a good project, but there was very little information to review it. Mr. Ray Sanders stated that he though CDBG grants were reviewed by a separate group. Staff reported back to Mr. Sanders why we were suppose to review this application.
