Spring 2018 School of Atec Capstone Proposal

SPRING 2018 SCHOOL OF ATEC CAPSTONE PROPOSAL

All School of ATEC students must complete a capstone project during their graduating semester. This is a culmination course where students create a project of their own choosing with faculty supervision. In order to apply for capstone, students must submit their Capstone Proposal the semester prior to their graduating semester. Students will be assigned to take either ATCM 4397 (Senior Seminar) or ATCM 4398 (Capstone Project) after faculty review.

The Spring 2018 Capstone Proposal appears on the following page. Please complete it and email it as an attachment to [email protected]. This will upload your proposal to a UTD Box folder where faculty will be able to review it. Submit the document in .docx or .pdf format and use the filename convention: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_SP18Capstone.

The deadline to complete and submit your Capstone Proposal for Spring 2018 is October 20th, 2017. Faculty members will meet to review proposals and assign students to ATCM 4397 or 4398 the following week. Late, incorrect, or incomplete applications risk reduced supervisor options and could delay graduation.
