1990 – Jack and the Beanstalk
Kenneth Long had the title role in Renmore’s 12th Annual Pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ which was staged at Leisureland from 2nd to 7th January 1990.
Gerry Ferguson played ‘Dame Murphy’, Brendan Hutchinson ‘Tommy Tucker’, Caroline Gaffney ‘Mary Mary’ and Paul Muldrew was the audience friend as ‘Simple Simon’.
J.P. Bohan had the frame of ‘Giant Blunderbore’ with John Forde as his evil henchman. Paula Fahy was a delightful ‘Princess Tara’. Seán Garvey wore the King’s Crown and David Leonard proved to be his trusty guardian.
Margaret Duggan played ‘Crystal Fairy’, Alan Gantly was the ‘Town Crier’ while Clare Dooley and Cliona Breathnach were the legs and body of ‘Dawn the Cow’.
Ladies-in-waiting were Ashling Lawlor and Judith Higgins.
