2016-2017 “16 de septiembre” Parade

Important Information

Before Parade Begins:

1. Drop off- Between 8:00-8:15 a.m. near Bradford Park located at 905 E. New York Avenue on Saturday, September 15th. Students will ride a flat- bed trailer during the parade. We will decorate it that day so please arrive on time.

2. Wear a solid red/green/white T-shirt with blue jeans or shorts.**If you have a folkloric or mariachi outfit wear it . Students MUST sign in with Mrs. Moreno.

3. You may bring a light snack and a bottle of water.

4. Student must have this permission form signed, complete with phone numbers or he/she may not attend.

5. Students must stay together on the trailer until released by Mrs. Moreno.

6. Wear tennis shoes.

7. You may not jump on or off the trailer. You must follow the rules for your own safety and everyone else involved.

8. NO CANDY WILL IS THROWN OFF THE TRAILER!!

When parade is over:

Pick up across the street from Doña Anita’s restaurant located on 305 W. Florida Avenue.

1. Be on time to pick up your child between 11:00-11:15 a.m.

2. Students must leave with the adult designated below.

3. Adult must sign out with Mrs. Moreno. 4. We are participation in the parade because the students want to represent Midland High Spanish Club, but we will not be responsible for anyone who chooses to run off without a parent or guardian. If this happens, the student is AUTOMATICALLY OUT OF SPANISH CLUB WITHOUT A REFUND!
