Dream Big, it’s elementary! is a new and innovative resource for parents of children in elementary school. It offers parents practical ideas to help their children develop the French language and provide them with opportunities to build an identity in which French has an important place. This simple tool is intended to support families, both French-speaking or bilingual, in creating a home life where the child can feel proud of his French identity.

We invite you to an hour-long session during which you will learn to use this practical booklet. Each parent, whether Francophone or Anglophone, has a role to play when it comes to building a francophone identity. Parents and the school form an important partnership in the development of a child’s French-language skills and Francophone identity. Participants will have a chance to discuss simple ways to make their home a place where French has an important place.
