The mechanism is stamped Everbrite Watch Co., Seventeen 17 Jewels, Swiss, EXC. It is currently ticking away but will stop from time to time and definitely needs to be overhauled (cleaned/oiled) by a watchmaker. Attached to the watch is a Band-It made in France genuine Lizard strap in very good, pre worn condition.

Sold as found so please assume it needs serviced. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Watch sizes: I provide exact measurements in millimeters (the watch industry standard) and inches, and include a U.S. quarter in one of my photos as a size reference. Draw the measurements on paper to help visualize the watch on your wrist. Remember, watches from the 1910s through the 1970s were smaller than considered normal today.

Most of my mechanical, windup watches on the Watch Attic have not been recently serviced and are sold as found. Even if they are running at time of listing, please assume they will need cleaned and serviced by a professional watchmaker for them to keep time. Watches sold for parts/repair are project watches that may be useful in fixing another watch or will require parts to be fixable.

Modern quartz (battery operated) watches have had new batteries installed prior to auction and have been timed by me before hand to ensure they keep time.

The following auction is for a mens vintage timepiece from the Gruen Watch Company. This watch dates to ca 1939 - 1941 and is in the Art Moderne, late Art Deco style.

It measures 37mm lug tip to lug tip and 21mm in width, not including the crown or 1-1/2 inches long by just over ¾ of an inch wide. It is fully wound up and does not run so will require cleaned/repaired.

The silver, enamel finished dial is in good condition, an older refinish featuring blue steel hands and black enamel painted numerals. It is signed GRUEN below the 12.

The acrylic crystal is in great condition. The two-piece case is 10kt Rose Gold Filled and is in very good condition, a polish would make it pop, I think. Note the fancy, elongated, curved lugs. The winding crown is a later replacement (yellow gold hue) and in great shape.

The back lid is made of 10 Karat Rose Gold Fill and is in good to very good condition, no personal engravings and with a bit of brassing on the edges. Inside is its original 17 jewel, manual wind mechanism, signed Gruen Watch Co., Seventeen 17 Jewels, Conoruma, Switzerland, GXC. The caliber number is 400. This mechanism is complete but has what appears to be a sticky balance and does not run. The inside case is stamped Cased & Timed in USA by the Gruen Watch Co., Wadsworth, 10K Gold Filled, F400, 419. Attached to the watch is a 14mm normal length tan colored leather strap that is in great shape.

Sold as found so please assume it needs serviced/repaired. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Modern quartz (battery operated) watches have had new batteries installed prior to auction and have been timed by me before hand to ensure they keep time.

The following auction is for a mens vintage 22 jewel, self-winding timepiece from the Intereks-Orion Watch Company of Russia. This watch dates to ca 2002 and is New Old Stock, never worn before.

It measures 44mm lug tip to lug tip and 33.5mm in width, not including the crown or 1-3/4 inches long by 1-5/16 inches wide. It winds and sets as it should but only runs for 20 to 30 minutes after being shaked and needs to be serviced.

The iridescent (beautiful Sky blue) mother of pearl finished metal dial features a crisp 60 minute checkered outer track, luminous green numbers and applied silver (luminous) “arrow” hour indicators, fancy style silver metal hands and a sweep sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter. Signed O R I O N in Cyrillic below the 12 and Automatic below this. It is further signed Made in Russia above the rotating balance escapement wheel. The glass mineral quartz crystal is gently curved and in mint shape, like the rest of this new watch. The zinc-brass alloy case is gold plated and mint condition, as is the gold finished crown.

Turning the watch over I see that the stainless steel back lid is firmly held in place with four corner screws, a nice quality feature. It is signed with the company logo and has a very low serial number of #248 for this model. Peeking inside I find a smooth running, 22 jewel self-winding Ruby jewel movement, a shock resistant example that is a Poljot 2614 2H caliber. This watch winds with the movement of your wrist and does run for 20 to 30 minutes before stopping after being shaked for a few seconds. It will need to be overhauled (cleaned/oiled/regulated) to keep proper time. It is fitted on its original Orion signed 17mm black brown Lizard grain leather strap, complete with gold finished buckle.

Sold as found so please assume it needs serviced/repaired. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Modern quartz (battery operated) watches have had new batteries installed prior to auction and have been timed by me before hand to ensure they keep time.

The following auction is for a vintage ladies timepiece from the Concord Watch Company and featuring a Rebberg caliber movement. This watch dates to the late 1910s (ca 1917 to 1920), and is in the WWI Trench Style style, basically a small pocket or pendant watch made to be a wristwatch.

It measures 32mm lug tip to lug tip and 27.5mm in width, not including the crown or 1-1/4 inches long by 1 inch wide. It does not run, has a wobbly balance and is sold for parts or repair.

The original dial is in very good condition and has just one faint hairline, hardly visible. It features black enamel Roman Numerals and a RED number XII. Hands are blue steel and original. Signed SWISS below the 12. It is fairly normal for a watch of this age not to have a company name on the dial.

The solid glass crystal is in excellent condition. The three-piece case is sterling silver and is in good condition. The bezel is hinged (as shown) and the back lid, once hinged, is now snap down in design. The winding crown is original, pumpkin style and in good shape.

The back lid is made of sterling silver and is in good shape, it snaps down securely but was once hinged as well. Inside is its original Seven 7 jewel, wind manual wind mechanism, signed Concord W. Co., Seven 7 Jewels, Two 2 Adjts., Swiss. This is, I believe, a Rebberg caliber mechanism, the same as was used by early WWI era Rolex mechanisms. This mechanism is complete but the balance is wobbly so sold for parts/repair. The inside case is stamped CONCORD W. CO., STERLING with the silver hallmark and Swiss silver hallmarks as well.

Sold as found so please assume it needs repaired. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Modern quartz (battery operated) watches have had new batteries installed prior to auction and have been timed by me before hand to ensure they keep time.

The following auction is for a mens vintage sterling silver, hinged case timepiece from the Omega Watch Company of Switzerland. This watch dates to the ca 1925 to 1926 and is in the Art Deco style.

Its wire lug, sterling silver case measures 40.5mm lug tip to lug tip and 27mm in width, not including the crown or 1-5/8 inches long by just shy of 1- 1/8 inches wide. It does wind and tick but the stem/crown are loose and the watch is missing two hands (pinion, 4th wheel is still present and fine). Sold as a fixer upper for parts or repair.

The silver, enamel finished dial has been professionally restored and in excellent condition. Not by me, but just as I got it in a lot of watches. It features black enamel painted numerals and crisp minute and hour tracks. Signed OMEGA below the 12.

The acrylic crystal is in great condition. The two-piece case is sterling silver and is in great shape, unpolished but would be excellent with some detailing. Note how it is hinged from the front, rather unusual as most hinged cases are hinged at the back. The winding crown is, I believe, original and in excellent shape. It winds the mechanism but is not secured so will come out all the way if pulled. Detent seems fine.

The back lid is made of sterling and is in great condition, it would look excellent with a normal polish. Inside is its original 15 jewel, manual wind mechanism, signed OMEGA with serial number 6,381,248. This mechanism is complete but runs briefly and sporadically and requires repair and a couple of case screws. The inside case is stamped OMEGA, SWISS MADE, FABRICATION SUISSE, .925 with case number below (note: case and movement numbers for Omega never matched and this case and movement are original).

Sold as found , assume it needs both serviced and repaired. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Modern quartz (battery operated) watches have had new batteries installed prior to auction and have been timed by me before hand to ensure they keep time.

The following auction is for a ladies vintage timepiece from the Charles Tissot Watch Company of Switzerland, a long time sister firm to Omega. This petite watch dates to the Mid 1960s and is in the Retro Modern style.

It measures 24mm lug tip to lug tip and 19mm in width, not including the crown or 1 inch long by ¾ of an inch wide. It winds and sets smoothly and keep accurate time over a 24 hour test but has not been recently serviced.

The original silver enamel finished dial is in great condition and features applied gold and black markers and gold hands with luminous fill. Signed TISSOT below the 12 marker with T trademark and SWISS MADE at the base.

The acrylic crystal is in excellent condition. The two-piece case features a 14kt gold electroplated over metal body and is in good condition with normal age and wear. dThe winding crown is in good shape as well, functioning properly.

The back lid is made of stainless steel and is in very good condition, a screw-down design. Inside is its original 17 jewel, manual wind mechanism, signed Tissot Swiss, Seventeen 17 Jewels with a 13 million serial number. This mechanism is clean, complete and running accurately. The inside case is stamped TISSOT, FAB. SUISSE, SWISS MADE, CHS. TISSOT & FILS, FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE, LUNETTE PLAQUE OR G. Attached to the watch is a new, 10mm black genuine lizard strap with gold finished buckle. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Modern quartz (battery operated) watches have had new batteries installed prior to auction and have been timed by me before hand to ensure they keep time.

The following auction is for an antique fancy dial timepiece from the Dueber Hampden Watch Company of Canton, Ohio. This watch dates to the 1907 and is in the Transitional style, designed to be worn either as a watch (wristlet) or as a pendant.

This is a 3/0 size watch (a common mens size back then, slightly smaller than the 0 size) and it measures 31mm in width with the crown or bow. This works out to be just shy of 1- 1/4 inches. It sets properly with its NAIL SET lever (UNDER THE BEZEL) but it does not run or tick and is sold for parts or repair.

The original fancy color porcelain enamel dial is in great condition, one faint hairline only – it looks really nice. The hands are all gold metal (the hour minute do not match) and it features black Roman numerals. It is signed Hampden below the 12.

The plastic crystal is in excellent condition. The three-piece case is 10kt Yellow Gold Filled and is in great condition, hinged at the bezel with a snap- down back lid. It has less than normal wear for a case of this age (106 years!). The original ONION style gold winding crown is in great shape too. Please note that you need to pull the nail set lever OUT to set the hands. It is located near the 5, under the bezel.

The back lid is made of 10 Karat Yellow Gold Fill and is in great shape with no wear or engravings, a couple pinprick dings. Inside is its original 7 jewel, manual wind mechanism, signed MOLLY STARK, CANTON, OH with serial number 2,229,583, dating it to 1907. The movement is complete and the balance does spin properly when I blow some air on it. Hairspring looks good too. The inside case is stamped GOLD FILLED, DUECO, which stands for 10k gold filled (minimum) and DUEBER CO. shortened.

Sold as found so please assume it needs serviced/repaired. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

The following auction is for a mens vintage timepiece from the Omega Watch Company of Switzerland. This sterling silver watch dates to ca 1918 and is in the WWI, military trench style.

Triple-signed, it measures 36mm lug tip to lug tip and 31mm in width (33mm with crown) or just over 1-3/8 inches long by just shy of 1-1/4 inches wide (without the crown), slightly smaller than typical (which was 38mm x 33mm). It sets smoothly but I can only get it to run briefly when shaken. The balance is good but the hairspring may have lost its tension so it will need to be serviced/repaired.

The original dial is in porcelain enamel and in great condition, no visible hairlines are present. It features a 60 minute outer track, skeleton hands (with safe, non radium fill), Arabic numbers and a sub-seconds dial with sweep original seconds hand. Signed OMEGA below the 12.

The acrylic crystal is in excellent condition, a later replacement. The three-piece, hinged-back case is sterling silver, Omega-signed and is in excellent shape with no dings, dents, engravings or signs of abuse. A light detailing would make it pop. The lugs are solid and secure. The winding crown is chrome steel, a later replacement in excellent shape.

The back lid is made of sterling silver and is in excellent condition with a secure hinge and it clicks s hut tight. Inside is its original 15 jewel, manual wind mechanism is signed OMEGA with serial number #5,400,497. This number corresponds to late 1918 production date, possibly 1919.. This mechanism is complete with a good balance, setting parts but it will run only briefly upon jostled, it will need to be repaired/serviced. As I said before, it looks like the hairspring, which is coiled and tidy, may have lost its tension. The inside back lid is stamped OMEGA .900 [Sterling] with two Bern Bear hallmarks (one large, one tiny), indicating it was cased in Switzerland as well. Attached to the watch is a black leather wire lug strap that is a normal gents length.

Sold as found so please assume it needs serviced/repaired. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

The following auction is for a ladies vintage timepiece from the Westfield Watch Company, a division or sister company of the Bulova Watch firm. This watch, complete with its original display case and original gold link bracelet, is in excellent condition and is NEW OLD STOCK, never sold or worn but literally tucked away almost 80 years. It dates to 1936 as per its Bulova date code and is in the Art Deco cocktail style.

It measures 28mm lug tip to lug tip and 17mm in width, not including the crown or 1-1/4 inches long by 5/8 of an inch wide. It is fully wound and does not tick because it needs to be overhauled (cleaned/oiled), something t has never had so I think it is due!

The original dial is in mint condition, an ivory enamel finish with gold numbers and gold hands. It is signed WESTFIELD below the 12.

The original glass crystal is in perfect condition. The two-piece case is comprised of a 10k Rolled Gold Plated bezel and stainless steel back. It is in pristine shape with no wear whatsoever. The original winding crown is gold finished and in perfect shape too, hands set smoothly.

The back lid is made of stainless steel and is in excellent, unused condition. It is signed Westfield with case number F132725. Inside is its original Seven 7 jewel, manual wind mechanism, signed Westfield Watch Co., Swiss, Seven 7 Jewels, [Caliber] 6WN. There is also a SQUARE Bulova date code stamp for 1936. This mechanism is clean and complete but has never been worn so the oils have dried up and it will need a routine service (cleaned/oiled). Attached to the watch is its original Bradfield USA 10kt Rolled Gold Plated fancy link bracelet strap with fold away deployment clasp. This band is on the smaller side (about 6 inches total) so I will include a new old stock black cord bracelet strap for the winner with gold fittings and clasp, it will look nice on this watch.

Sold as found needing serviced but what a nice, new old stock Westy that is worthy of being cleaned.

Winning bidders in the USA pay $3.50 for safely boxed USPS First-Class Mail shipping with online tracking (delivery confirmation). Washington State residents (and those with shipping addresses in Washington State) are required to add 8.6% sales tax. Do you collect vintage watches? Our sister store, Holben’s Fine Watches, specializes in professionally serviced manual wind and automatic wristwatches from the 1910s to the 1960s. Our weekly selection includes styles such as wire lug trench WWI; WWII; military; fancy case, art nouveau; art deco; mid-century modern; stainless steel; sterling silver; white, yellow and rose gold; solid gold; platinum; and diamond, ruby and sapphire ladies cocktail watches.

There comes a time in the life of a watch collector when he or she must clean out the closets, sort through drawers, crawl up into the attic and peek under the mattress to regain some breathing space around the house. My descriptions are honest and succinct, and I take pictures at close range, allowing you to get an accurate assessment of physical condition.

The following auction is for a mens vintage timepiece from the Bulova Watch Company. This is an early Jump Hour or Direct Read model and it dates to 1933 per its movement date code (cross). It is in the Art Deco style with stepped sides. Please note that this watch is missing its stem/crown and possibly a part that I cannot see. It does have all 3 rotating number disks albeit the seconds one is off the watch. Sold strictly as a project watch or for spares if you have one that you need to complete.

It measures 37mm lug tip to lug tip and 25mm in width, not including the crown or just under 1-1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide. It does not wind or set as it has no stem or crown. Balance and hairspring look okay.

The chrome metal case is in good overall condition with light scratches throughout and a touch of brassing on the bezel corners. It is embossed BULOVA below the hour window. Note that the seconds disk is not on the movement but is safely stored in a little bag. There is no plastic lens (crystal) under the cutaway windows.

The back lid is made of chrome steel and in good shape, no wear or engravings but light scratching is visible. The hinged section of the case is still together and the case opens/closes properly but the hinge pin has been stretched/bent so this is noted. Inside is its original 15 jewel, manual wind mechanism, signed BULOVA WATCH CO., FIFTEEN 15 JEWELS, 13AT, SWISS. There is a Bulova date code for 1933 visible (a cross). This mechanism appears complete except for the stem/crown and the seconds disk being off. Please assume, however, that something else might be missing, I honestly do not know. The inside case is stamped BULOVA QUALITY - 2179112. Attached to the watch is what just may be its original leather strap with chrome steel buckle that is still all there.

Sold strictly as found , AS IS so please consider this a project watch or a SPARES watch to complete a project. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Modern quartz (battery operated) watches have had new batteries installed prior to auction and have been timed by me before hand to ensure they keep time.

The following auction is for a mens vintage timepiece from the Bulova Watch Company. This hermetic design, stainless steel watch dates to 1960 and is in the Retro Modern style.

It measures 42mm lug tip to lug tip and 34mm in width, not including the crown or just over 1-5/8 inches long by just shy of 1-3/8 inches wide. It winds and sets smoothly and keeps very good time (I have timed it a few times over 24 hours). It has not been recently serviced.

The original enamel finished dial is in average to good condition with an even patina (or foxing) of age visible. It features raised silver numbers, original silver steel hands and a crosshair sub- seconds dial with sweep silver seconds hand. It is signed BULOVA 17 JEWELS below the 12 and SWISS at the base.

The original plastic crystal has scratches and wear. The two-piece case is stainless steel and is in good to very good condition with normal, light scratches. Note how it comes apart in the picture I provided. To access the movement you go in through the crystal/dial. The winding crown is original, signed Bulova and great shape.

The back lid is made of stainless steel and is in very good shape. It is signed Bulova Stainless Steel Case, Anti-Magnetic, Shock Resistant, Waterproof, Patent No. 2871654, M0. The M0 is the date code for 1960. Inside is its original 17 jewel, manual wind mechanism, signed Bulova Watch Co., Swiss, Seventeen 17 Jewels, BXW. This mechanism winds and sets properly and it keeps accurate time. Attached to the watch is a 18mm brown Hirsch Duke leather strap in very good condition. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you get a good deal!

Draw the measurements on paper to help visualize the watch on your wrist. Remember, watches from the 1910s through the 1970s were smaller than considered normal today.
