(Trafalgar CC will probably no longer be a member of the WDCA) General Business: A motion "that the season include a Friday/Saturday match on 14th and 15th January instead of play on the first Saturday after New Year" Moved Dale/Adrian Carried
A motion "Rule 2 pt “C” (Over-age Players) to give players 3 games before being declared an age specific player " Moved Ian/Neil Carried
A motion " Rod to raise at WDCA Exec meeting, the Junior Sub Committee’s support for the application as it presently stands of Rule 2 Pt “C” (Over-age Players) with the amendments made last season " Moved Ian/Neil Carried
Ian was supported by all delegates in having the proposal to implement extreme hot weather given more flexibility as a forecast for the day may have no significance to the mornings play and also consideration has to be made for Friday evening matches.
Four Bunyip CC coaches and one from Western Park will attend the Level 1 Accreditation Course on 22nd August 2010 at St Pauls, Warragul.
Motions were moved and carried appointing the coaches for the coming seasons representative squads. Under 12- Dale Serong Jason/Neil Under 13- Grant Williams- Dave/Dale Under 14- Derek Burridge Dave/Ian Under 15- John Barnes & Jason Batson Dale/David Under 16- Craig Russell Dave/Jason
Managers will be ratified by Sub Committee in the near future with Sally Harper managing Under 16’s and Ian Cougle assisting. These appointments are pressing as team will play in early October.
Rod highlighted the responsibility to give under 13’s selected in the Country week squad (4) reasonable opportunities.
