OASYS Training Worksheet Unit 2- Common Account Transactions Module 4- Withdrawal for Check Issuance Viewers will learn how to complete a withdrawal and issue an Official Check.

Process: Begin in the Member Look-up screen located in Real-Time Entry Member Look-up  Enter the member’s number into the Member Number field or use alternate search function in the Member Look-up screen and press Enter

 Select the member from your search results

 Select the account type on which you will be transacting from the Record Type table

Withdrawal for Check Issuance  Press Enter to navigate through the Total Cash In field  Press Enter to navigate through the Total Checks In field  Press Enter to accept the Account Number field

 Press Enter to accept the Share Type field

 Press Enter to accept the Suffix field

 Select the Withdrawal Print Check option from the Tran Code dropdown then press Enter

 Key in the total amount of the check to be withdrawn then press Enter

Completing the Check Information Screen for System Generated Checks  Key in the Payee Name then press Enter

 Click Search to complete an OFAC comparison

 Review and click OK to accept OFAC results then select Exit to close the OFAC screen

 Continu e to key in the remaining payee information as requested by the member, pressing Enter to navigate from field to field

 Select Apply Transactions and click Yes to respond to the resulting prompt Printing the Check and Receipt  Select Print

 Click Print then click OK to the resulting prompt

Hints:  Tellers will respond to a check/receipt printing prompt when first Entering Real-Time processing. The response of Y or N will impact screen generation during the Withdrawal for Check Issuance process.

 The system generated receipt will be printed along with a check image. Institutions that manually generate teller checks may separate the receipt from the check image and provide it to the member. The check image may then be shredded or retained as the institution’s record of the transaction.  A Withdrawal Print Check transaction may not result in cash-back to the member. A separate withdrawal must be completed for cash-back purposes.
