P=2013, N=2012, M=2011, L=2010, etc. We omit O’s and I’s (look like 0’s and 1’s) A – second character indicates month of manufacture. A=Jan, B=Feb, C=Mar, D=Apr, E=May, F=Jun, G=Jul, H=Aug, J=Sep, K=Oct, L=Nov, M=Dec 1234 – 3rd-6th numerical characters are unique sequential numbers for batch. UH – two alphabetic character suffix indicate site of manufacture. UH-Houston, UU-Union, UB-Berea, UA-Akron (tollers), YX-buyout products Disregard alphanumeric characters after site - insignificant for your purposes.
