Samira suggested that the provision of ongoing ‘personalised travel planning’ for staff has worked particularly well, but it would probably be necessary to look at managing car parking provision more robustly in future in order to fully meet targets.
Moves are also afoot to better quantify the CO2 savings from the travel plan and build these into the general environmental reporting undertaken by Sky.

In particular Emma highlighted the need to better promote the iTRACE travel surveys in order to get a more robust sample size of employees. Suggestions included attempting to identify other contacts in the organisations, and undertaking face to face surveys in staff canteens.

Ideally it would be best if the businesses could arrange a focus group with their employees where a note was made of initial impressions and any glitches that they come across. 8 New Public Art Jan Lennox Presentation on Jan Lennox from Watermans Art Centre provided a presentation on the Proposals (Watermans Art proposals for new potential for public art to be installed on the Golden Mile and M4. Currently there are plan to use the ‘MyByBox’ delivery centre at the Osterley Tesco’s and promote this to Golden Mile employees. MVA are only looking for companies to promote this service to their employees, and to highlight a short survey that will be used to test the trip reduction and CO2 savings that could be achieved if such a solution was rolled out further.
