A Tribute to “Kabeer” by LNJ Bhilwara Group

 LNJ Bhilwara group organized a musical mono act play on the life of great reformist, poet and philosopher "Kabeer"  Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, honored the occasion with his benign presence

Himachal Pradesh, September 5, 2012: LNJ Bhilwara Group’s commitment towards promoting the Indian culture was once again seen when the group organized a mono act play on the legendary saint Kabeer at Gaiety Theatre, Shimla. The act was conceived, written, composed, directed and acted by Shekhar Sen – an internationally acclaimed artist who has performed in more than 700 plays / acts worldwide.

The two hour long play was inaugurated by Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh mesmerized the audience as they rediscovered Kabeer’s message of love and peace & religious harmony. It tenderly touched audience’s soul, which consisted of people from all walks of life including politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen.

Last year in October too, Shekhar Sen performed a mono act depicting the life of Swami Vivekananda at same venue in Shimla, which received tremendous applause from the audience.

The initiative is in keeping with Group’s motto – Proud to be Indian, Privileged to be Global.
