Option #1: Create a visual-verbal collage that shows your understanding of one of the characters in the play.

Guidelines for Option #1:  Your collage will be done on the paper provided  ON THE FRONT, INCLUDE: o A title containing the character you have chosen’s name o At least ten illustrations, graphics, magazine pictures etc. that express the character you have chosen o 5 quotes from the play that support the character’s personality (you must include the act, scene and line # for each quote you use) o 5 adjectives that you feel represent the character you have chosen  ON THE BACK, INCLUDE: o One properly formatted paragraph explanation of how the illustrations/graphics/magazine pictures match the character you have chosen  One properly formatted paragraph explanation of why you chose each of the 5 adjectives that describe your character  One properly formatted paragraph explanation of why you chose each of the 5 quotes to describe your character.

/ 15 Verbal:  Your collage has a clear, attractive title  Your collage contains 5 quotes from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, with their corresponding act, scene and line numbers.  Your collage contains 5 adjectives that you have chosen  The adjectives are neat and clearly visible

/ 20 Written Explanations:  On the back of your collage, you have written three explanatory paragraphs (one for the visual elements of your collage, one for the adjectives on your collage and one for the quotes)  Each paragraph is of an adequate length (at least 5 sentences) and has topic, supporting and concluding sentences  Each paragraph has clearly explained WHY you chosen to include the visuals/verbals that you placed on your collage, and this explanation makes sense in relation to Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night
