GRAND COUNTY PARADE OF HOMES OPENS THE DOOR
TO 24 OF THE NEWEST AND FINEST HOMES
WINTER PARK, COLO., July 27, 2007 - The Grand County Parade of Homes is Aug. 4 - 5 and 11 – 12 and the county’s largest parade yet with 24 new residences included in this year’s tour. Featuring the finest in local craftsmanship, these properties are examples of the latest in kitchen, great room, bedroom, and outdoor-area design. From the breathtaking 2007 HGTV Dream Home in Bridger’s Cache to rustically elegant cabins, the tour includes homes for everyone. Registration is completely free and open to the public.
To register and pick up a 2007 Parade of Homes program guide, stop by the Home Expo in Hideaway Park, located in downtown Winter Park. A variety of building - related businesses including area contractors, interior designers and architects will be a part of the expo as well as sales agents from The Village at Winter Park Resort offering information on ownership opportunities at Founders Pointe and Fraser Crossing, located right at the base of the mountain.
Participants are welcome to explore one or all of the 24 homes on tour. “Whether you are wondering what’s new in home construction, design or materials or gathering ideas for your own dream home, this event will provide you with that information” states Joyce Burford, Grand County Parade of Homes executive committee member. Although every home is staffed, some will have the property’s builder, architect, interior designer or real estate broker on hand to answer questions and discuss ideas. The Grand County Parade of Homes is presented by the Winter Park / Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce Parade of Homes Executive Committee and benefits the Winter Park Ski Education Foundation and the Grand County Builders Association. Volunteers are needed each day and will be provided lunch. For more information or to volunteer, please call 970-726-1590.
